I have never installed a QGIS plugin other than “fetching” the plugin from a repository. I have downloaded the timemanager.zip from the project page, so how can I get it installed in QGIS? Thanks.
You can add the geofrogger repository which contains Time Manager: http://www.geofrogger.net/qgis_plugins/plugins.xml.
If you want to install by hand you can unzip the plugin into ~/.qgis/python/plugins. But then you don’t have automatic updates.
That worked perfect, as well as setting up the repository feed. thanks for the succinct answer.
This is amazing! Thank you!
